Byron von Berkeim is a very handsome 6 year old German Shepherd.  Dapper and oh-so-fuzzy, Byron is quite the fellow.  He’s big of heart but, being an adult dog, he’s more laid back than rambunctious.  Instead of explosive energy to get your attention, he would rather just get close and nuzzle for cuddles.  Byron loves getting out and lights up at every person who passes by; he's a complete love bug with people.  With a medium energy level, he'll easily tackle a long walk but also can be calm and hang out.  Byron has an easygoing personality, which serves him well when meeting other dogs.  He does well meeting them on leash and is very comfortable in a playgroup with friendly dogs.  He’s best matched with a female or another easygoing male as he's less comfortable around pushy males. Byron is the type of shepherd that some people don’t believe they can find at a rescue; however, smart, beautiful and sweet Byron is here waiting for you to welcome him home, even if he has to travel to make it there.
